Already July

July 3, 2008 at 8:25 pm (Family, Kylie)

Are you with me? Can you believe it’s already July? We look forward to time with family for July 4th; also, we hope to watch some firework displays. This will be our first “fireworks” adventure with Kylie, so we’ll see how she likes all the noise.

Ok - ok - here are some new pics that I have been promising to add.

Kylie is enjoying Grandpa/Grandma’s red wagon! Kylie loves to say “agon” — to encourage us to take her for a wagon ride!

Mondays

June 23, 2008 at 6:20 pm (Family, Puppies)

Mondays seem to be a “catch up” day. Kylie is normally sleepy (slightly crabby) from church activities on Sunday, and sometimes I need to visit my work. So, that was our morning - CVS, Walgreens (for Sunday newspaper coupons), Stacey’s work, and back home.

Heather came over for lunch; it’s nice that she is in town for a time! We had BBQ chicken, green beans, strawberries, grapes, and peaches. Yum!

Kylie is “sort sleeping” right now, so I need to accomplish some “work” things.

Puppy Update: we only have one puppy left. He’s really cute! He definitely thinks he’s a “big dog” now since he runs around outside with our other two full grown dogs. It’s hilarious to watch him to try “bark” and “carry on” just like the big dogs.

Busy Days

June 20, 2008 at 2:23 am (Uncategorized)

The last few days were quite busy for me with work things. I’m trying to post more on this website, so I’ll be “catching up” over the next few days.

Can you believe that July 4th is only 2 weeks away? Crazy!

Gone…

June 20, 2008 at 2:21 am (Family, Puppies)

2 gone and 2 to go….. We sold two puppies tonight. I couldn’t believe how sad I was to see them leave. it’s so funny to me .. I’m not even their real “mommy.”

We are happy with the two “new” parents; we are sure that the pups will have a good home.

I need to post more pics!! The pups turned 6 weeks today! So, I’ll include the pups that just left tonight too. Good thing I got in a few extra photo shots tonight.

Missionary

June 16, 2008 at 2:03 am (Uncategorized)

My friend Jolea came for a visit on Thursday. It was nice for her to meet Kylie for the first time. Also, Jolea is hoping to continue on the mission field, so we enjoyed talking about that and all her adventures.

Thanks for stopping by to see us!

Busy Week

June 9, 2008 at 10:15 pm (Family, Friends)

I’m excited about this upcoming week - days are filled with plans for visits with friends and enjoying time as a family.

Nathan is outside working in the yard, and Kylie and I are staying cool inside. It’s hard to imagine 120 degrees (as our troops endure); I’m tempted to complain at a mere 100. Air Conditioning was a great invention!!

Puppies!

June 6, 2008 at 6:34 pm (Uncategorized)

We took the puppies out last night onto the deck! It was a fun time together! Kylie loved chasing them while Nathan and I were trying to get some good pictures. They have so much energy and enthusiasm for life!

Pictures to come…..

Park

June 6, 2008 at 1:25 am (Uncategorized)

Heather came over for a visit this morning; we had a nice time chatting while Kylie took a nap. Then in the afternoon, we went to a nearby park. It was such a nice day out - with the breeze. Kylie and I both enjoyed a grape sno-cone. I’m such a sucker for those!! When we left, I did buy some boiled peanuts for Nathan’s treat, so he wouldn’t be left out of the festivities.
